Yoshimi has been providing counseling services to individuals, couples and families for 24 years. She received her master's degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA, which was accredited by the APA (American Psychological Association). She treats adults with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, denial, control issues, death, loss, sexual abuse, etc. She also provides couples therapy to bridge the gap of connection and communication which may have been lost over the years. Her culturally sensitive, understanding (yet direct) approach has helped countless people make changes in their lives. She considers herself to be tri-cultural, as she was born in Japan, is ethnically Korean but has spent most of her life in the U.S. For over ten years, she has rooted herself and invested in the city of Mission Viejo and surrounding cities providing psychotherapy. She continues to assist clients to find their life purpose, their identity, their ability to communicate their needs and to more effectively deal with the important people in their lives.
